Two major arteries
through town facilitate both
traffic flow and commerce.
State Routes 5 & 15 (also
known as the Berlin
Turnpike) and State Route 9
are supplemented by State
Routes 72, 372 (Farmington
Avenue and Mill Street), 71,
and 71A. Each provides
easy and quick access to
Connecticut's two major
Interstate Highways, Route
84 (East-West) and Route 91
(North-South).

Berlin

the north, Rocky Hill and Cromwell
to the east, Middletown and Meriden
to the south and Southington to the
west. Berlin is located just 11
miles south of the State Capital of
Hartford.

shopping and banking, three
libraries, easy access to medical
facilities in New Britain,
Farmington and Hartford, a public
nursing service, and a
senior center.

abound: five town-owned parks on

neighboring Southington (Mount
Southington) and
