Connecticut is located in the Northeastern United States, and together with Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Masachusetts, and Rhode Island, is part of the six state region known as New England.

Traveling to Connecticut couldn't be easier! Bradley International Aiport in Windsor Locks, and Tweed-New Haven Airport provide two outlets for major domestic carriers. General Aviation/Commuter Airline Airports located within 10 miles of Berlin are:
Meriden Markham Airport in Meriden, Robertson Airport in Plainville and Brainard Airport in Hartford.

Amtrak provides passenger rail service, while Conrail and the Boston & Maine Railroads service freight rail needs to a station located right in Berlin.

As the map on the right indicates, Berlin is conveniently located in the center of the state with easy access to two Interstate highways (I-84 and I-91), and a third major throughway (Rte. 5/15, known as the Berlin Turnpike). The Berlin Turnpike reflects the renewed vitality of our State's economy, becoming a showcase of retail development. Nationally and regionally known chains such as Home Depot, Pep Boys, Circuit City, Staples, and Lowe's Home Center have established a major retail presence on this route.
